NFL Week 3 Viewing Guide

It’s Week 3 and time for your weekly guide to the NFL on Australian TV.

It’s quickly becoming evident that any game involving Buffalo, Arizona and possibly the New York Giants is bordering on unwatchable, while the surprising Tampa Bay Buccaneers feature in a 4-star game against Pittsburgh.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ MUST SEE TV

New Orleans Saints (1-1) at Atlanta Falcons (1-1), Mon 3am
Line: Saints +3
NFC South clash between the two pre-season favourites, with the Saints off to a much slower-than-expected start.

San Francisco 49ers (1-1) at Kansas City Chiefs (2-0), Mon 3am
Line: 49ers +6.5
Patrick Mahomes finally gets to do his thing in front of the home fans.

Pittsburgh Steelers (0-1-1) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-0), Tue 10:15am
Line: Steelers -1.5
Could be the most intriguing game of the week, with the struggling Steelers up against red-hot Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Cincinnati Bengals (2-0) at Carolina Panthers (1-1), Mon 3am
Line: Bengals +3
Another good one, with the unbeaten Bengals on the road against Cam Newton & Co.

New England Patriots (1-1) at Detroit Lions (0-2), Mon 10:20 am
Line: Patriots -7 (out from 6)
Patriots look to rebound from ugly loss at Jacksonville against their former defensive coordinator Matt Patricia and the winless Lions.

Indianapolis Colts (1-1) at Philadelphia Eagles (1-1), Mon 3am
Line: Colts +7 (out from 6)
Colts coming off a win and Philly welcoming back Carson Wentz makes this a decent game.

Tennessee Titans (1-1) at Jacksonville Jaguars (2-0), Mon 3am
Line: Tennessee +8 (out from NO LINE)
Still some uncertainty over the health of Marcus Mariota, so hence the eight-point spread.

Los Angeles Chargers (1-1) at Los Angeles Rams (2-0), Mon 6:05am
Line: Chargers +7
A relatively healthy line here for the crosstown rivalry game. Chargers don’t have much of a home field advantage anyway, so a trip to the Coliseum shouldn’t bother them.

New York Jets (1-1) at Cleveland Browns (0-1-1), Fri 10:20 am
Line: Jets +3
Browns are always intriguing to watch – sort of trainwreck TV to be honest. And believe it or not, they’re the favourite!

Denver Broncos (2-0) at Baltimore Ravens (1-1), Mon 3am
Line: Broncos +5.5 (out from 5)
Broncos are easily the least impressive 2-0 team and the line reflects that.

Green Bay Packers (1-0-1) at Washington Redskins (1-1), Mon 3am
Line: Packers -3
Packers favoured on the road and coming off that ugly tie with Minnesota.

Oakland Raiders (0-2) at Miami Dolphins (2-0), Mon 3am
Line: Raiders +3
The surprising Dolphins would like their chances against Jon Gruden’s hard-luck Raiders.

Dallas Cowboys (1-1) at Seattle Seahawks (0-2), Mon 6:25am
Line: Cowboys +2 (out from 1.5)
Neither of these teams is very good but the pressure’s on Pete Carroll and winless Seattle at home.

Buffalo Bills (0-2) at Minnesota Vikings (1-0-1), Mon 3am
Line: Bills +16.5
It’s the second-highest line in Vikings’ history and why not, the Bills are dreadful.

New York Giants (0-2) at Houston Texans (0-2), Mon 3am
Line: Giants +6
The Giants are a real worry: the offensive line is bad and Eli Manning looks like he’s 50 years old.

Chicago Bears (1-1) at Arizona Cardinals (0-2), Mon 6:25am
Line: Bears -5.5 (in from 6)
The Cardinals have scored a total of six points in two games. Khalil Mack and the Bears’ defense will be licking their lips.
