Francesca is a $12 chance to follow in Jennifer Hawkins footsteps and bring the Miss Universe crown down under for the second time in the pageant’s history.

She’s at shorter odds to take out the crown than many of the traditionally successful countries, which could be a sign that she’s a chance to improve on our performance of the last few years.

Venezuela, a powerhouse in the pageanting world is a $16 shot and Colombia, another strong performer, is also at $16 after a few controversial comments have set her back from the top of the market.

The most successful country in the history of the competition, USA, is an $8.00 shot.

Catriona Gray, the contestant from the Philippines, is the $4.00 favourite to claim the crown and has been the best backed. She’ll be the second Philippines contestant to win in three years, after Pia Wurtzbach. won the crown in 2015.
