An outrageous decision to put onion underneath the sausage at Bunnings sausage sizzles is likely to be reversed.
We reckon the hardware giant is a $1.85 chance to overturn the rule of putting onion under the sausage that has Aussies everywhere outraged.
Australia is up in arms over a sausage sizzle, and rightly so. The only place for onion is on top of the snag and we expect public outrage will convince Bunnings that they should not tamper with an Aussie icon.
The iconic sausage sizzle is $31 to be banned all together from Bunnings stores and betting has opened on what will replace it.
Sausage rolls are the favoured snack at $2.50 followed by meat pies ($3.30) and the bacon and egg roll ($5.50). The healthy option of sushi is a $10 shot and tofu sliders are the $51 outsiders.
