legg-Up | Three-State Quaddies

Comments

No yacht purchases, but we landed the Sydney Quaddie last Saturday and missed one leg in Brisbane.

Melbourne is proving tough and no different at this Sandown meeting on a heavy 9.

Good luck.

Sandown

5-Benchmark 78 (2400m)

Best: Yulong Captain – in-form, won last two including this track and distance latest in heavy 8.

Others

Converging – ran down by Yulong Captain last start, meets that horse slightly better at the weights.

Meteor Light –no peace when attacked from the 700m by Fanciful Toff, but battled hard for third to Yulong Captain. Could take a sit this time.

Monmouth – up in grade, but down 3kgs and tough stayer coming off a close second at Bendigo.

Numbers: 5, 9, 6, 11.

6-Benchmark 84 (1200m)

Best: Ruben Bleu – missed the start was last flashed home late in Saturday city grade. Extra distance, big run in will suit.

Others

Choisborder – on quick back-up. Worked early to mid-race and kept finding last week behind Kalashani Lad.

Power O’Hata – won here then found wanting in Saturday grade, handles the heavy.

More Than Exceed – well back at the Valley, but not punished. Winner in heavy, this track and distance.

Numbers: 2, 3, 6, 1.

7-Benchmark 70 (1200m)

Best: She Shao Fly – three runs from a spell all in Saturday city grade. Down in class, will get back but expecting a high tempo, which will suit.

Others

Miss Hayworth – every chance and battled on when resuming, can only be fitter and winner in heavy 8.

Others

Trigger Point – every chance last start when tougher. Β Won this grade in heavy 8 previous run and 3kg claim a plus.

Tan Check – Powerhouse win in lesser grade last start. Showed good turn of foot, should handle the class rise.

Main Stage – even effort in BM84 last start, super fit, but D-Day.

Numbers: Β 7, 5, 10, 14, 4.

Warwick Farm

Numbers: 3, 10, 6.

6-Benchmark 70 (1600m)

Best: Maui Girl – led a BM 78 and tired late at the end of 1800m. Back to the mile in her favour and anything better than heavy is a positive.

Others
Boomtown Rat – not suited heavy 9 latest. Fitter for two runs and winner track and distance.

Numbers: 7, 4, 6, 11, 9.

Best: The Wild One – she ran two good races, and then bogged down in heavy 8 last start. Can turn things around on a better surface.

Bold Arial – last two runs were in Listed races, this much easier.

Others

8-Benchmark 75 (1650m)

Best: Countess De Galvez – had them covered a long way out in Ipswich win.
