Here’s a look at the Quaddie legs for Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

Randwick

6-Benchmark 78 (1800m)

Best: Kiss the Bride – three runs from a break have been good. Latest just failed this grade and should be peaking.

Others

Orcein – finished on the heels of Night of Power last start, having a good prep, super fit.

Night Of Power – gets out to a more suitable trip, heavy track a concern, but capable on his day.

Californiafirebird – back to more suitable distance after went out hard last start and goes around with 49kgs after the claim.

Β Numbers: 2, 5, 3, 11.

7-Benchmark 88 (1100m)

Best: Black Magnum – hit a dead-end at a crucial stage last start and probably should have won.

Others

Ianup – won this grade in heavy 8 last start. He gets in with less weight this time after the 3kg claim.

Grimoire – resumes has had two soft trials, won in heavy and good first-up record.

Sangria – lightly raced, won at Listed level before a spell. Solid in recent trial win, two wins in soft, failed only go in heavy.

Numbers: 4, 2, 6, 7.

8-Benchmark 78 (1800m)

Best: Fulmina – won this class and distance two starts back. Found 2000m too far latest, beautifully weighted after the claim.

Others

Savigne – excuses last start when pulled-up lame, previous form was solid, J-Mac a plus.

Guise – tough mare, closed well last start when it was hard to make ground from the back.

Monegal – racing in peak form, first go at 1800m, but gives the impression she will handle it and 3kg claim will help.

Capri Of Tuffy – bit one paced over shorter trips, first go at 1800m and will race in the bunny.

Numbers: 4, 6, 2, 1, 12.

9-Benchmark 78 (1400m)

Best: Steel DiamondΒ  – runs well spaced, but doing everything right winning two of last three.

Others

Charretera – placed last three, latest this grade and out to 1400m is a positive.

Miss Redoble – forget run last start when pulled up with cardiac arrhythmia. She trialled well at Newcastle and prior form was solid.

Stella Sea Son – freshness out of her legs last start over 1200m, longer trip and in-form apprentice to ride.

Numbers: 5, 9, 7, 1.

Moonee Valley

6-Benchmark 84 (1200m)

Best: Condo’s Express – resuming, races well this track and Group 3 placed.

Others

Wilmot Pass – had all the favours to win last start, against his own age, up against older horses here.

Scottish Rogue – not disgraced at Flemington, better for the run and 2kg claim.

Titan Blinders – super consistent gelding, resuming, has jumped-out and races well fresh.

Numbers: 5, 10, 11, 7.

7-Quality Handicap (2040m)

Best: Polly Grey – luckless last start at Flemington when never out of trouble. Closed strongly and will be better for the run.

Others

Tavirun – will race in speed, good win last start, winner this track and loves the soft.

Danon Roman – three solid runs since a break and ready to step-up to this trip.

Mahamedeis Β – goes in on brilliant 2400m win last week, but drop in distance a concern and doesn’t want it worse than soft.

Numbers: 7, 8, 6, 1.

8-Benchmark 78 (1500m)

Best: Sukoot – closed well last start Ollie to ride and should be peaking for this.

Others

Winning Partner – racing in peak form this prep and has upside.

Five Kingdom – first-up run was more like a barrier trial, can only be fitter.

Alsvin – on speed runner stuck on okay last start at 1600m, drop in distance a plus.

Battle Torque – on a seven day back-up, last week’s third was a good run.

Numbers: 12, 2, 3, 10, 4.

9-Benchmark 70 (1200m)

Best: Hypersonic – (emergency) big wraps and has won only two starts impressively. Will be right on the speed.

Others

Sebrekate – first-up was group 3 placed before a spell, one alley, claim, ticks some boxes.

Proper Rogue – fitter for two runs from a break and both were decent.

Montenegro Man – firmer surface in his favour and has had three runs in now.

Numbers: 19, 2, 9, 7.

Eagle Farm

6-Class 3 Plate (1400m)

Best: Slow Hands – great first-up run, better for it, wide draw the only negative.

Others

Starla – won last two starts, mare in form.

Smooth Move – edged out slow hands last start, does rise 3.5kgs, but is honest.

Euro Belle – Won this track, then worked home strongly for second latest, having a good prep.

Numbers: 2, 12, 7, 14.

7-No Metro Wins (1200m)

Best: Musical Genius – beaten a lip first-up in much tougher grade run. Sure to be improved and second-up winner.

Others

Socialising – betting easer and no luck latest start when couldn’t get a clear go at them. Won previous three.

Winning Shot – lumped 61kgs and tired late when second this track last start. Will race on speed and down in weight.

Bubbles Ball – close up in two soft trials and looks well placed here for first-up run. Good gate and claim.

Woman Of Gold – in the money five of six starts, won here latest.

Numbers: 1, 5, 3, 6, 13.

8-Open Handicap (1400m)

Best: Smartedge – first run for Gollan didn’t handle the heavy in Sydney latest. Up to these.

Others

Persuader – Last two starts were in Listed grade and wasn’t disgraced, fourth-up should be ready to run a race.

Mr Bellagio – pass on taking the short odds, but goes in on fast finishing 6th in the Listed Eye-Liner. Is 0-4 this track.

Red Doulton – made ground and not far off last start, usually races well at the Farm.

Right Or Wrong – ran third in Listed race two starts back, closed well latest.

Numbers: 4, 6, 3, 13, 2.

9-Benchmark 72 (1800m)

Best: Joymaker – J. Byrne might get going a little earlier this time. Got too far back last start, this track and distance, but made up a lot of ground to just miss.

Others

Parangas – beat mediocre opposition at the Gold Coast, but showed a good turn of foot and has plenty of upside.

Fast Train – overraced, but still ran well at Sunshine Coast, should box-seat.

Lord Gododdin – will appreciate a firmer surface after running well on heavy tracks in Sydney.

Our Fun – brought north by the Freedman’s to dodge heavy tracks. Third-up and Maloney to ride.

Numbers: 11, 14, 7, 5, 10.
