Wilmot Pass – first-up went okay in 900m Mornington jump-out.

Β Ms Catherine – flying machine won three of four starts, claim helps as creeping up in weights.

Best: Alpha Oro – won last three. Hit the front early at Flemington and fought hard for a gutsy win.

Others

Inn Keeper – lumped 63kgs for a placing this grade three starts back, honest and 2kg claim is a plus.

Numbers: 10, 3, 2.

Rosehill

6-McKell Cup (Listed, 2000m)

Best: Carzoff – was edged out by Waller stablemate Wu Gok last week.

Others

Wu Gok – mudlark won last two in heavy going.

Attention Run – last start winner (1800m) and light weight might help her run this trip, which she has failed to do three times.

Mongolian Wolf – was midfield to Attention Run, but did work home okay and step-up in trip is a plus and down in weights.

Frankely Awesome – was twice G1 placed before a spell. Ran on before tiring late behind Attention Run, fitter now.

Numbers: 4, 1, 12, 11, 10.

7-Listed Handicap (1350m)

Best: Trumball – missed the kick and flew home from well back when nosed out by True Detective. Very honest and jockey change could help.

Sambro – trialled strongly since second to Dealmaker, close to peak, J-Mac stays solid.

Order Again – first run for Waller was even fourth to Dealmaker, can only be improved.

Numbers: 8, 5, 3, 4,1.

8-Benchmark 78 (1500m)

Best: Night Of Power – not a noted first up performer, but did a good job (6th) to Monegal on a heavy 8. Good record second-up.

Others

Knowitall Jack – resumed to lead and fought hard behind (4th) Monegal. Claim and two from two second-up.

Orcein – had a tough run when 5th to Agassi at first go on heavy 8. Should be close to peak now and has the rails draw.

Best: Kordia – won a Listed race before having a year off after having a bone chip removed. Trialled twice, no wet form slight query on fitness in heavy, but class runner.

Others

Prairie Fire – poorly ridden latest when taken back from wide gate and finished hard. Better draw this time.

Malea Magic – placed last three runs, latest was just in front of Switched, when had the gun run.

Numbers: 5, 4, 11.

Doomben

6-Class 6 Plate (1350m)

Best: Thy Kingdom Come – super impressive win last start. Slightly held-up, once clear let down strongly. Drawn to box-seat.

Others

Β Saxton Rock – went back from a wide gate and closed off strongly when resuming. Will be improved and goes well second-up.

Numbers: 1, 8, 4, 2.

8-Fillies & Mares Group 3 (1630m)

Best: Delectation Girl – got too far back this class latest (9th) to Gaulois. She did her best work over the latter stages, soft 5 will help and also back against her own sex.

Others

Krone – last to fifth in G2 last start over 1400m. Can be closer from a better alley here.

Baccarat Baby – class mare, but yet to hit the high note this prep. Back to Doomben, in the money all five runs here, is a positive.

Shuhood – lightly raced filly taking on the older mares, but was nice effort behind Vana Girl latest and will be right on the bunny.

Numbers: 3, 6, 2, 12.

9-Benchmark 75 (1200m)

Best: Pinnacle Star – in the money nine of 10 starts. Fitter for two runs in and latest was a betting drifter when third this grade.

Others

Oriental Runner – class drop and was good third here last start. Up in weight, but offset in part by the 2kg claim.

Tru Blu Tango – very honest and has plenty of speed and a nice alley to jump from.

Love Squirrels – unwanted in betting when resumed, slow away worked home nicely. Capable of improvement.
