Big fields in three states and rain-affected going at all three venues, with the Sunshine Coast likely to be a bog.

Had the winning run stopped last Wednesday, when went close but no cigars and confident we can bounce back.

Caulfield

6-Open Handicap (2000m)

Best: Thought of That – no peace when led Caulfield 1600m, also winner at 2000m this track. Poy’s claim a plus.

Others

Grand De Flora – Savabeel filly won two in a row full of running at the end of 1600m latest win.

Tooradin – form fair but last four starts been on heavy tracks. Can improve in better going.

Numbers: 1, 3, 6.

7-Monash Stakes (Group 3, 1100m)

Best: Viridine – lumped topweight to win in heavy 9 at Randwick. Fresh and and has performed well at G1 level this track.

Others

I Am Someone – went out hard last week and tired late. Can get the right run from barrier three.

Jungle Edge – nine-year-old and weight-for-age winner. Wetter the better and the day you leave out this old-timer he wins.

Tavisan – went too hard at Flemington last week. Better suited this track where won here three starts back.

Numbers: 2, 6, 1, 7.

8-Three-year-old Fillies Hcp (1100m)

Best: Flostar – three wide from the 600m did all the chasing and nabbed on the line. Won two prior.

Others

Sizzlefly – went okay G2 level and this easier.

That Girl – not disgraced Listed level latest, back in distance is a plus, but barrier is not.

Chassis – last two runs were in Group 2 before a spell. Good fresh and will be hitting the line.

Bless Her – toughest test, but won last three starts and likes the sting out of the ground.

Numbers: 2, 1, 8, 3, 4.

9-Benchmark 84 (1700m)

Best: Dogmatic – resumed in unsuitable 1400m and worked home late. Winner here and step-up in trip is ideal from the good gate.

Others

Curragh – down in grade finished well when second-up, 2kg claim a plus.

Declares War – rock hard fit, drawn to get the gun run.

Surreal Image – attacked all of the way and battled on for 3rd to Danon Roman. On speed runners and down in the weights.

Triple Strip – gets a positive jockey change after poor ride when resuming and luckless fourth in BM90.

Numbers: 11, 3, 10, 18, 14.

Rosehill

6-Benchmark 78 (1500m)

Best: Bandersnatch – covered more ground than Burke and Wills last start and showed great fight to just go under.

Others

Orcein – had all the favours and solid win last start this class. Drier the better.

Night Of Power – easy in betting and after looming up tired late. Can improve here third-up.

Word For Word – held up and only out the last 300m worked home in worst part of track okay.

The Cartoonist – not far behind Orcein latest. Fitter and two-time winner when second up.

Numbers: 1, 10, 2, 12.

7-Quality Hcp (Listed, 1400m)

Best : Order Again – nice first-up run got back made ground for second to Trumball. Third-up now.

Others

Dealmaker – went wide and took time to balance in the straight. Solid to the post alongside Order Again.

Trumball – had a long prep and finally broke his luckless run with a win last start,when got all the favours.

Noble Boy – resumes strong through the line in recent in recent Warwick Farm trial, two-time first-up winner.

Numbers: 3, 7, 4, 8.

8-Benchmark 88 (1200m)

Best: Embracer – went out hard and led until very late. Fitter, down in grade and can get softer sectionals from his good gate.

Others

Ianup – went back from a wide gate but finished hard, at first run since February. Rawiller sticks.

Kordia – highly promising won three of four and flew home latest to win here, this toughest test.

True Detective – racing in peak form winning last two. Drops in grade, but up 4.5kgs.

Numbers: 2, 8, 11, 3.

9-Benchmark 78 (1200m)

Best: Stella Sea Son – won this grade with 60kgs last start and drops to 57.5kgs after the claim. Honest mare and can only be fitter.

Others

Malea Magic – closed off strongly behind Kordia latest. In the money last four and should be powering late again.

Charretera – was in the worst part of the heavy 8 track and battled hard for close third to Poetic Charmer.

Monte Ditto – bridesmaid last two, did a good job from outside alley when ran on for second to Poetic Charmer.

Dio D’Oro – got home okay from well back last start behind Kordia. Has won second-up and winner here.

Numbers: 1, 4, 9, 6, 3.

Sunshine Coast

6-Three-year-old Hcp (1000m)

Best: Howwondeerfullifeis – deserved favourite won two of three this prep including last start when led all of the way in heavy 8.

Others

Bold Style – Worked home well in Listed grade last start, Drops in classΒ  and is nicely in after the 2kg claim.

Gideons – faces a class rise, but this ghostly grey bolted in here on his home track last start.

Clever Miss – wouldn’t go early last start, but rallied late. Trained here handles heavy so can improve.

Say Haya – ploughed through the heavy to win at Doomben latest.

Numbers: 2, 1, 8, 7.

7-Guineas (Group 3, 1600m)

Best: Wapiti – building to a win, nice second last start and has won in heavy.

Others

Star Of Michelin – was dominant winner at Eagle Farm latest run. Has won in soft, but no heavy form, like most in the race.

Knight Mariner – won last two starts, most recent was strong at the end of 1690m. Won in soft 5 prior to that.

Numbers: 3, 1, 7.

8-Quality Hcp (Listed, 1400m)

Best: Krone – she ran well at Group 2 level and followed that with second to Sure Knee in G3 latest. Heavy track winner and in on the minimum.

Others

Soxagon – plenty of ability winning three of last four starts, just a concern at first attempt in heavy going.

River Racer – won this race last year, loves the wet and rock hard fit.

Numbers: 11, 6, 3.

9-Class 6 Plate (1000m)

Best:Β  Ditmas – super consistent, placed in heavy and gets 3kg claim.

Others

Bombarding – trained here and had first start for new stable with an all the way win this track, heavy track winner.

Musical Genius – resumes won in heavy and beaten under two lengths in Listed race two runs back.

Tullio – won last two, up from a Cl3 midweek win, but no knock and heavy winner.

Numbers: 7, 5, 13, 16.
