We’re proud to announce we have agreed to terms to be the official naming rights sponsor of the recently launched Australian Duck League (ADL).
The deal gives Sportsbet exclusive broadcast and wagering rights, branding and ability to expand the league in coming seasons.
It’s the biggest deal we have ever signed when it comes to commercial agreements for racing rubber ducks, and whilst we cannot reveal specifics, it’s safe to say we’re investing four figures plus into the league in year one.
The semi-professional yellow rubber ducky League launched to huge fanfare last week with season one consisting of 12 races, and while wagering on season one isn’t permitted, the bookmaker anticipates opening up wagering for season two.
Round one received nationwide acclaim, with Jacob Bevis, the host and star of ‘The Bev Show’, rung in as the official voice behind the action.

“We all dream as kids that we run a sports team or League. When we created the Australian Duck League we never envisaged it would start to reach the dizzying heights it now is,” ADL creator Nicholas Wood said.
“We want to be spoken about in the same circles as James Naismith – that’s our aim!”
Round two of the ADL gets quacking at approximately 7:30pm AEST Thursday 30th of April.
You can catch each round of the ADL LIVE on Sportsbet’s Facebook Channel on Thursday nights or find out more about the ADL here.
