Smart three-year-old Trapeze Artist has drawn barrier eight for his attempt at successive Group 1 wins in the All Aged Stakes (1400m) at Randwick on Saturday.
The Gerald Ryan trained colt, who won the T.J. Smith Stakes in his previous start, is one of 13 runners for the $600,000 feature. Trapeze Artist has opened $2.50 favourite in the 13-horse field. Brave Smash ($7.00), Le Romain ($7.50) and Hartnell ($9.00) are the only other runners under double figures.
Japanese import Satono Rasen, having his first start for Chris Waller is $34. Waller will also saddle Endless Drama ($26) and cult hero and prolific bridesmaid Tom Melbourne ($10).

The powerful Mick Price-Damien Oliver combination will link for the Champagne Stakes (1600m) with Seabrook. The two-year-old was in the worst part of the track when a last start ninth to El Dorado Dreaming in the Sires Produce Stakes (1400m) and the extra distance should suit. Seabrook has opened $4.50 favourite, with El Dorado Dreaming juicy odds of $9.00.
