If you asked me a couple of months ago if Friday Night Football would mean Belarusian Premier League soccer, I’d tell you that you were insane. But that’s where we find ourselves.
Now technically this isn’t Friday night footy as the games are early Saturday morning.
But if you’re up late on Friday – and let’s be honest, most of us are these days – you might just wanna roll into Saturday and check out the first two games of Week 3.
Belshina Bobruisk won the Second League last year and earned promotion, but they’re winless and up against another team without a point, Gorodeya.
That match is followed by an intriguing clash featuring struggling Dinamo Minsk and Torpedo BelAZ Zhodino, who swept the series last year by a total score of 7-0.

FACTS: These are the two bottom teams in the league, both winless and with a total of just one goal between them (Belshina lost to FC Minsk 3-1) in the first two games. Gorodeya haven’t scored in their last three away matches.
