Everybody loves a winner and there was a lot to like about the Socceroos 4-0 win against the Czechs.
The Socceroos will have gained a lot of confidence and with the squad now finalised they are one friendly away from starting their World Cup mission.
Traders reacted to the win and tightened the Socceroos odds from $17 into $15 to beat tournament heavyweights France in their June 16 Cup opener in Russia.
The Socceroos are now $1.14 to be eliminated in the Group stages and firmed from $15 into $13 to be eliminated at the quarter finals. They are $301 to lift the Cup with Germany the $5.50 favourites, ahead of Brazil ($5.50), Spain ($6.50) and France ($7.00).

Tim Cahill heads betting at $4.33 to be top scorer. However, Tom Rogic is best backed and after a stand-out performance against the Czech’s he has firmed from $14 into $11 to score the most goals for Australia.
The win over the Czechs lifted the Socceroos into favouritism for their final lead-up match, a friendly against Hungary next Sunday. The Australians are $2.40 favourite, with Hungary $2.70 and a draw $3.00.
