We’re getting closer to sporting normality, as the K League, one of Asia’s strongest leagues, begins play on Friday night.
The good news, besides that the games are in our time zone, is that two Aussies – Adam Taggart and Terry Antonis – will be in action tonight for Suwon Bluewings.
Taggart, the Perth lad who played for both Glory and Brisbane Roar, tied for the K League Golden Boot last season and is paying $3.50 as Anytime Goalscorer on Friday night.
The bad news? They’re up against a Korean powerhouse, Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, the three-time defending champs and the odds-on favourites to win the league again.
